Burt Gummer and his son Travis Welker travel to Canada to investigate a series of attacks by giant worms, and find themselves among graboids. Burt begins to suspect that the military is trying to adapt the underground monsters for their needs, but then things take an unexpected turn: one of the graboids poisons him. The only salvation is to make an antidote from fresh venom, but to do this, you have to milk a graboid.
